What this role looks like

Based in Peru, NY, you’ll be the go-to expert customers rely on when their home appliances stop performing. Your day moves from kitchens to laundry rooms, uncovering issues, restoring performance, and leaving people feeling taken care of.

A day in the life

• Troubleshoot and repair major home appliances — refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and ovens/ranges.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on refrigeration units to keep them running at peak efficiency.
• Speak clearly with customers about findings, repair options, timelines, and preventive care.
• Document each job thoroughly, including diagnostics, work completed, and parts used.
• Keep up with new appliance models, service bulletins, and evolving repair techniques.
• Work safely and in compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations.
• Partner with teammates to streamline processes and elevate customer satisfaction.

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/appliance repair training preferred.
• Hands-on experience in appliance and refrigeration service or a closely related trade.
• Strong diagnostic mindset and the confidence to work independently in the field.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and core refrigeration principles.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to move and position heavy appliances and work in a variety of environments.
