Set up miscellaneous light and automatic assembly and packing machines to perform a variety of operations, such as adjusting set-ups until parts and sub-assemblies meet prescribed specification; instruct operators in proper use of set-up; troubleshoot on machines; and, make necessary adjustments and set ups to keep machines in operation. Assembler will be expected to work in a flexible team environment. This is a full-time permanent Union-affiliated position for the 1st Shift. Weekends and overtime hours as needed based on demand.

Exposure to miscellaneous chemicals, including, but not limited to: Alcohols (Isopropanol,etc), Epoxy/Loctite, Mercury, Oil/vanishing oil, Urethane Foam Resin, Ethylene Glycol, Flux, Potting material, Glue, Dye/Ink, Toluene, Polyfilm,Methylethylketone (MEK), Molycote, Glycol, Acetone, Lead Solder, Beryllium Copper, Hot Melt Glue, Polymeric Isocyanate, General cleaning chemicals, and various other solvents/chemicals.
Electrostatic Discharge controls training and compliance with ESD policies.
Solder certifications may be required.
Must meet designated lifting requirements.
Safety glasses with side shields required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required according to job duties.
Drinking and eating in designated areas only
Must maintain good housekeeping practices in assigned area. (Perform 5S activities within the cell)
Must work in a team environment and will be required to rotate to different aspects of the job.
May be exposed to noise, dirt and/or chemicals in some areas.
May require successful completion of a variety of on-the-job certifications or qualification programs (including classroom instruction where applicable).
