Purpose:
Residential Assistants (RAs) provide direct supervision to residents of Brighton Center's Homeward Bound Shelter. The 24/7 shelter serves abused, neglected, and homeless youth ages 11-17, males and females. RAs actively engage with youth to enhance their progress towards individual goals. RAs play an essential role in supporting youth as they build life skills, participate in school, seek employment, and increase their social-emotional well-being.
