About the Role

Burke is seeking a Residential Assistant (RA) to provide care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. This role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, supporting active treatment programs, and maintaining a safe, structured, and home-like environment.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and assist with daily living activities
• Support the Day Programmer in delivering active treatment services
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
• Complete required documentation including activity notes, progress notes, and medication inventory
• Support individuals in developing life skills and independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation
• Dependable and able to work varying shifts

What Helps You Stand Out

• Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience in a direct care or residential setting
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Work Schedule

• Weekly schedule varies:
• 2 days: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• 3 days: 10:30 PM - 9:00 AM

Salary

• $30,850 annually
