Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Authority (NLCMHA) is a 300-employee organization that serves people who live with intellectual/developmental disabilities, serious mental illness, and substance use disorders from six counties: Crawford, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Missaukee, Roscommon, and Wexford. Among many other community mental health services, NLCMHA also directly operates 6 licensed specialized residential homes and a small group of supervised independent living apartments utilizing a team of up to seventy full and part time employees. We have homes located in Crawford, Roscommon, and Wexford counties. This Residential Care Aid position would be serving residents in one of those residential homes. POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Able to work in a "Culture of Gentleness" environment

Able to implement Person Centered Planning

Personal care

Activities of Daily Living

Pass medication

Meal Preparation

Cleaning/Sanitization

Transportation

Electronic data entry

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 18-years old

MI driver’s license (unrestricted)

HS Diploma or GED

Pass a Physical Exam including lift test

Pass criminal background check

Negative TB test
