POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting staff in providing the necessary support and information needed to implement each clients treatment plan. The incumbent also assists clients with daily activities, medication monitoring, management of daily tasks and providing transportation when needed. Crisis management and support is also an important function of this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrated written and verbal skills, knowledge of practical self-care skills, ability to deal effectively with persons with mental illness, current PA drivers license and access to a vehicle during work hours. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, organizational skills, knowledge of practical self-care skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to effectively work with persons with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities and implement treatment plans for their program participation.
