What success looks like

You’re the technician homeowners trust. You arrive prepared, assess systems methodically, and restore safe, efficient performance—whether it’s a routine tune-up or an emergency call. You keep your workspace tidy, your records detailed, and your customers informed. You follow safety regulations and industry standards with pride.

Primary responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems; occasional light commercial support.
• Diagnose faults; complete routine and urgent repairs to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Clean, adjust, and fix system components, including air handlers, ductwork, vents, and condensate drains.
• Perform inspections, adjustments, minor upgrades, and thorough documentation.
• Present clear, professional recommendations and solutions to customers.
• Take on additional assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of HVAC experience with a residential emphasis.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Commitment to top-tier craftsmanship and a positive attitude.
• Customer-centric communication; professionalism across all levels.
• Adaptable, innovative teammate who thrives in dynamic settings.

Physical demands

• Routinely lift 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Climb ladders; access attics and crawlspaces; work in tight quarters; push, pull, carry; use hand tools; perform precise, detailed tasks.
• Drive to and from job sites.
• Work indoors and outdoors, including attics/crawlspaces.
• Stand, walk, sit; communicate in person and via phone.
• Use hands to operate tools/controls; reach with hands/arms.
• Frequently stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
• Regular exposure to heat, cold, and adverse weather (wind, rain, ice, snow).
