Job Title: Residential/Commercial Painter
Reports To: Crew Leader / Lead Painter
Location: Grants Pass
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Job Summary:
We are looking for a residential/commercial painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.
You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Always put safety 1st
- Interact in a friendly, professionally manor with customers
- Positively invest in relationships with coworkers to foster an exceptional, highly productive, and drama-free team.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, and sanding
- Repair crack/holes using spackle, caulk, putty, and drywall mud
- Paint by hand and spray, and demonstrate proper techniques.
- Identify proper materials for various prep and painting applications
- Inspect paint jobs for quality
- Perform inspection/maintenance equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on regular basis
