We are looking for a Project Manager to lead luxury custom home construction projects from preconstruction through final delivery in a custom home builder environment. This role requires full ownership of multiple residential projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently achieved. AlphaHire is recruiting on behalf of a client that specializes in high-end custom residential construction and is committed to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service. This position plays a critical role in delivering outstanding homes while maintaining strong relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and internal teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee multiple custom home construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts to ensure successful project execution.
    • Lead subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
    • Review construction drawings, specifications, and change orders to ensure work is completed accurately.
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve field issues, and maintain project momentum.
    • Communicate directly with homeowners, architects, designers, and consultants throughout the construction process.
    • Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor scheduling to minimize delays.
    • Manage project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and project reporting.
    • Identify potential project risks and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
    • Ensure all work meets applicable building codes, company quality standards, and client expectations.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of project management experience in residential construction, with custom home experience strongly preferred.
    • Proven experience managing luxury or high-end residential construction projects from start to finish.
    • Strong understanding of residential construction methods, building codes, and project sequencing.
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
    • Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, designers, and subcontractors.
    • Proficiency with construction management software, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling tools.
    • Strong budgeting, cost control, and change order management experience.
    • Must have direct project ownership experience; coordinator or assistant-level experience alone will not be sufficient.

    Benefits
    • Competitive compensation
    • Paid time off and company holidays
    • Professional growth opportunities
    • Collaborative and supportive team environment
