This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, budgets, materials, subcontractors, documentation, quality control, and client communication throughout the project lifecycle.

This position is ideal for an experienced residential construction professional who is organized, proactive, financially aware, and committed to delivering quality work on time and within budget.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, work plans, and production goals
  • Review and interpret blueprints, estimates, specifications, scopes of work, and other construction documents
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance
  • Prepare and manage takeoffs, change orders, punch lists, as-built information, and close-out documentation
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, testing, and municipal approvals
  • Ensure work complies with applicable building codes, safety requirements, project specifications, and company standards
  • Conduct safety meetings and address jobsite hazards promptly
  • Coordinate material orders, equipment, deliveries, pickups, and inspections
  • Confirm that Superintendents and subcontractors follow established schedules, work plans, and production expectations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project
  • Provide clear and consistent project updates in person and through JobTread
  • Assist clients with navigating insurance claims when applicable
  • Establish regular check-in and check-out communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members
  • Provide direction to on-site staff and subcontractors and conduct regular quality checks
  • Monitor labor, materials, job costs, and overall project profitability
  • Identify budget or schedule concerns and take corrective action when necessary
  • Resolve field issues and project risks before they affect quality, cost, or completion dates
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and submit daily Project Management Logs through JobTread
  • Support a collaborative, accountable, and solution-oriented work environment

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing residential construction, roofing, and remodeling projects
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction workflows from project setup through completion
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects, deadlines, budgets, and stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, estimates, specifications, and construction documents
  • Experience managing subcontractors, field staff, vendors, and project schedules
  • Proficiency with JobTread or similar construction project management software
  • Knowledge of building codes, permitting requirements, inspections, safety regulations, and compliance standards
  • Strong financial management skills, including job-cost and profitability oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems under pressure
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Professional, accountable, and client-focused approach to work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing insurance restoration projects or assisting clients with claims
  • Experience overseeing residential roofing, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, additions, or whole-home renovations
  • Familiarity with local permitting processes and building departments in the greater Dallas area
  • Experience working closely with estimators, production staff, Superintendents, and company leadership
  • Strong working relationships with residential subcontractors and vendors

What Success Looks Like

  • Clients receive prompt, clear, and professional communication throughout the project
  • Project schedules, budgets, documentation, and JobTread records remain accurate and current
  • Subcontractors and field teams receive clear direction and are held accountable for quality and production
  • Risks, delays, and budget concerns are identified and addressed before they escalate

  • Projects meet profitability goals while delivering an excellent client experience
  • Strong working relationships are maintained with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members
