A day in this role

Your morning starts at our Canton shop with a quick safety huddle. By 8 a.m., you’re on a new-home build in North Georgia, pulling EMT and MC, laying out branch circuits, and setting the panel using the latest drawings. After lunch, you jump to a residential service call to troubleshoot an intermittent breaker issue, then wrap the day reviewing punch-list items and communicating next steps with the project manager. Variety is the norm—ground-up residential, tenant build-outs, remodels, and service calls keep your skills sharp.

Role overview

We’re hiring an Electrician to focus on residential construction and lend support to residential service work as needed. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working across job types, solving problems on-site, and delivering clean, code-compliant installs.

What you’ll take on

• Install, wire, and complete full electrical systems in new residential construction
• Perform tenant build-outs, remodels, and ground-up construction tasks
• Assist with residential electrical installs and service calls
• Troubleshoot issues in both commercial and residential settings
• Install panels, lighting, feeders, branch circuits, and conduit (EMT, MC, rigid)
• Interpret and work from blueprints and electrical drawings
• Work safely while adhering to NEC and local codes
• Keep jobsites organized and professional
• Communicate effectively with project managers and teammates

What you bring

• 2+ years of electrical experience
• Residential experience preferred; commercial experience welcomed
• Proven troubleshooting skills and adaptability to varied job environments
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred (not required)

• Conduit bending experience
• Service troubleshooting experience
• Generator or EV charger installation
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Lift certification
