Residential Construction Superintendent - Jersey Shore

We are seeking an experienced Residential Superintendent to oversee high-end single-family ground-up construction projects and residential additions throughout the Jersey Shore area. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities for custom home and residential addition projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all local building regulations.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and homeowners.
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize delays.
• Manage material deliveries and site logistics.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
• Ensure projects are completed to company quality standards and client expectations.

Profile

Successful Candidate

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within residential construction.
• Proven experience managing custom single-family ground-up projects and residential additions.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience working directly with homeowners and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Proficient with construction management software and digital reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Jersey Shore region.
