Providedirectsupportandsupervisiontoclients/patientsandBehavioralHealthTechnicians;orientclientstoprogramexpectationsandstafftooperationalprocedures;monitorsafety,documentprogress,andassisttheClinicalTeamwithtreatmentproceduresandcarecoordination.

KeyResponsibilities:

·Superviseandsupportclients/patientsduringdailyactivitiestopromoteasafe,therapeuticenvironmentandmodelappropriatebehavior.

·Orientclientstoprogramexpectations,rights,andrules;communicatepertinentbehaviorsandprogresstothetreatmentteam.

·Lead,train,andsuperviseBehavioralHealthTechnicians;assistwithhiring,onboarding,scheduling,andcoverageforvacantshifts.

·Providedirectclientcareduties(performBehavioralHealthTechnicianresponsibilities)includinggroupfacilitation,education,recreationalactivities,andtransportationasneeded.

·AssistClinicalTeamwithscreening,monitoring(includingdetoxclientswhereapplicable),assessmentsupport,treatmentplanningassistance,andcasecoordinationundersupervision.

·Facilitatebehavioralinterventionsandcrisisde-escalation;ensureunusualincidentsarecollectedandreportedperpolicy.

·Ensuretimely,accuratedocumentationofclientactivities,groups,andprogressinaccordancewithStateRegulatory/CARFstandards;completemandatedtrainingswithintimeframes.

·Prepareorassistinpreparationofgroupcurriculaandeducationalmaterials;participateinstaffmeetingsandfacilitateBHTmeetingsasscheduled.

·Completeannualevaluationsfordirectreportsandprovideregulardocumentedsupervision.

·Demonstratecommitmenttoprogramgoalsandperformotherdutiesasassignedbyleadership.

Education,Experience,and/orCredentialQualifications:

·Bachelor’sdegreeinsocialwork,counseling,psychology,psychiatricnursing,orcloselyrelatedfield;OR

·HighSchooldiplomaorGEDANDatleasttwo(2)yearsresponsibleemploymenthistory.

·Atleastone(1)yearsupervisoryresponsibilitypreferred.

·Illinoissecondshiftincumbents:three(3)yearsofexperiencerequired.(Omitifnotapplicable)

AdditionalQualifications:

·Knowledgeofconfidentialitylawsgoverningsubstanceusedisorderandmentalhealthtreatment(HIPAA/42CFRPartII).

·Demonstratedverbalde-escalationskillsandabilitytoestablishrapportwithclientpopulation.

·Strongmultitasking,prioritization,leadership,andwritten/verbalcommunicationskills.

·Currentdriver’slicense,acceptabledrivingrecord,andautoinsurance.

·Successfulcompletionofbackgroundchecks(criminal,drivingrecord,abuse/neglect,fingerprint).

·Completionofnewhireorientationandmandatorytrainings(e.g.,Relias)withindesignatedtimeframes.

PhysicalRequirements

·Sedentarywork:mayexertupto10poundsoccasionally;frequentrepetitivemovementsofhands,fingers,andarmsfortyping/writing.

·Primarilysittingwithoccasionalwalkingorstanding;liftingandmobilityrequirementsareminimal.
