LHH seeks a part-time Residential Coordinator. In this vital position, you'll build rapport with participants, use trauma-informed and de-escalation strategies, and help maintain smooth day-to-day operations across the site.
Promote a safe environment by monitoring facilities and grounds, observing behavior, engaging proactively with participants, and utilizing de-escalation techniques.
Coordinate with onsite case management to support both safety and operational needs.
Partner with security personnel (if applicable) to ensure consistent site coverage and response capacity.
Conduct regular safety rounds, documenting and communicating any concerns or discrepancies.
Assist leadership with documentation, including incident reports, safety memos, and ongoing written correspondence.
Respond to crises or security concerns using non-violent crisis intervention, team-based response strategies, and trauma-informed communication.
Support the development of site materials such as procedures, forms, and operational manuals.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and/or in an interim housing, shelter, or residential services environment.
Comfort and alignment with the Harm Reduction model, including compassion, non-judgment, and trauma-informed practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
Ability to stay calm and professional during crises, emergencies, or high-stress situations.
Observational detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.
Shifts: Friday-Saturday 7AM-3:30PM and Sunday-Monday 3PM-11:30PM
Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
