Jonathan's Place is accepting applications for a weekend day/evening shift Direct Care Provider for the Residential Program. Residential Direct Care Provider will be responsible for daily care and supervision of individuals placed in the program. Residential Direct Care Provider will ensure resident safety through close supervision and frequent interaction. Residential Direct Care Provider will facilitate crisis intervention and peaceful resolutions of client disputes.

Part-time - Friday 3:30p-9:30p; Saturday's 4p-9:30p and Sunday's 4p-9:30p.

Responsibilities Include:

•   Engages in a trauma informed model of programming to provide physical and emotional safety for residents.

•   Supervises residents in various activities in order to observe and promote positive social behavior effect changes in their social behavior.

•   Models and teaches life skills to clients that will help them develop interpersonal relationships and social skills.

•   Observes methods/techniques of clinical staff and participates in treatment of residents through interaction, limit setting, and implementation of treatment plans; also responsible for co-facilitation and involvement in clinical groups.

•   Administration of psychotropic medication and/or other prescribed medications.

•   Monitor completion of daily hygiene routines/chores.

•   Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

•  High School Diploma or equivalent.

•  Minimum of one year of experience working with children who have experienced trauma.

•  Prior experience working with survivors of commercial sexual exploitation is preferred.

•  Knowledge of child development and behavior management.
