Core Values 

Residential Director - Stetson School

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $85,000–$95,000 annually
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (paid out over 18 months)

 

The Residential Director will coordinate and direct both the treatment teams and the overnight team, ensuring alignment across all staff, while ensuring integrated services are delivered through effective support and strong communication systems. The Residential Director will collaborate with Unit Directors to maintain a unified purpose, mission, goals, and overall focus, and will function as an integral member of the administrative team. 

 

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Ensures standards of safety and supervision of students are implemented and monitored.

Ensures investigations of alleged abuse, neglect, or other system failures are initiated and documented, and that safety precautions/measures are executed.

Ensures that the tone of the milieu is therapeutic, supporting safe and respectful interactions.

Ensures that students admitted to the program are properly assessed and that treatment and discharge planning is consistent with agency standards.

Develops and provides oversight for behavior management and behavioral tracking system.

Provides oversight for all therapeutic physical interventions, ensuring least restrictive means are used in all cases.

Develops and provides oversight for Community Service Programs.

Develops and provides oversight for Community Integration Programs, ensuring that community safety is the primary focus.

Assists in program development.

Ensures that Treatment Teams are functional and integrated, and that staff are knowledgeable about the diagnostic needs and treatment goals of the students they serve.

Ensures that consistent routines, transitions, daily activities, and child care practices are executed and reflect the diagnostic, behavioral, and safety needs of the students we serve.

Ensures that Treatment Teams provide group and individual treatment according to agency standards.

Assesses and participates in student case reviews as indicated.

Develops and provides oversight for staff supervision standards, ensuring a supervision model based on performance, competency, and role modeling.

 

Evening and weekend on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent in human service management, clinical, social work, counseling, or related fields, 

Requires a current valid driver’s license from state of residence.


Ability to travel 25% of the time, occasional overnights, and out of state travel.


Ability to occasionally work nights, overnights, and weekends.
