Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Residential Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role supports our estimating department by preparing takeoffs, reviewing plans, and assisting with bid preparation for residential electrical projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing electrical estimates for residential construction projects
- Perform material takeoffs from plans and specifications
- Support senior estimators with bid preparation and proposal development
- Communicate with suppliers for pricing and materials
- Review drawings and identify project requirements
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, builders, and internal teams
Qualifications
- Experience in residential electrical work or estimating preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and materials
- Proficiency with computers (Excel, estimating software is a plus)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Licensed Journeyman with a minimum of 4 years' experience
