Position Overview
LB Electric Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Residential Electrical Sales Estimator to manage sales opportunities, prepare estimates, and close residential electrical projects.
This role is responsible for meeting with customers, assessing project needs, preparing professional estimates, and converting opportunities into booked work.
The ideal candidate is confident with homeowners, skilled at explaining electrical solutions, and comfortable closing sales.
This role plays a key part in supporting the company’s growth by increasing sales conversion and ensuring customers receive timely, accurate proposals.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Consultation
- Meet with homeowners and customers to assess electrical service needs
- Provide professional recommendations and solutions
- Clearly explain scope, pricing, and timelines
- Build trust and confidence with customers
Estimating & Proposals
- Prepare accurate quotes for electrical service and small project work
- Develop proposals based on site visits, photos, and technician input
- Ensure pricing aligns with company standards and margins
- Submit estimates within company response time targets
Closing Sales
- Follow up on estimates and proposals
- Address customer questions and objections
- Convert quotes into scheduled work
- Maintain high closing ratios
Job Handoff
- Ensure clear job scope documentation
- Transfer job details to operations team for scheduling
- Confirm materials and scope requirements
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain accurate records in CRM (Zoho FSM)
- Track open opportunities and follow-ups
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the sales process
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong sales and communication skills
- Experience estimating residential electrical work preferred
- Ability to build rapport with homeowners
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical customers

$60,000 – $80,000
Commission / Bonus:
Based on closed sales and revenue targets
Company vehicle provided for site assessments
Total Compensation Potential:
$90,000 – $130,000+
