Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of residential service electricians and apprentices
- Plan, schedule, and dispatch service calls to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching, and training for team members
- Oversee troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of complex electrical issues
- Manage inventory, tools, and materials to ensure technicians are properly equipped
- Monitor job costs, labor hours, and departmental profitability
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, productivity, and revenue
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure positive resolution
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for service upgrades and maintenance agreements
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, inspections, and compliance documentation
Qualifications:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- 5+ years of experience in residential electrical service, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and code requirements
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with service management software and scheduling systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
