Residential Service Electrician Duties:
Electrical inspections — Evaluate existing wiring, panels, devices, and grounding to identify hazards, code violations, and required corrective actions.
Install & maintain wiring and equipment — Assemble, install, test, and service wiring, devices, appliances, fixtures, and electrical components using industry‑standard tools and methods.
Plan wiring layouts — Interpret job specifications and local electrical codes to design safe, efficient wiring routes and equipment placement.
Whole‑house rewiring — Replace outdated or unsafe wiring systems, upgrade circuits, and modernize electrical infrastructure in occupied homes.
