Position Overview
As a Residential Energy Consultant, you will guide homeowners through the process of evaluating and adopting solar energy solutions. Your role will combine education, consultation, and customer relationship management to help families make informed decisions about transitioning to renewable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Educate homeowners on energy-saving opportunities and solar benefits
  • Conduct in-home or virtual consultations to assess energy usage and property suitability
  • Develop and present customized energy plans and solar proposals
  • Build trust-based relationships with homeowners to support decision-making
  • Partner with design and installation teams to ensure smooth project handoff
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and financing options
Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED (required); Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Consultative, customer-first mindset with ability to explain technical concepts simply
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and adaptable
  • Previous sales, consulting, or renewable energy experience is helpful but not required

Compensation
$55000.00 – $100,000.00 per year (commission-based with bonuses)
