About the Role The Residential Facilitator supports adults with developmental disabilities by creating a safe, respectful, and empowering home environment. Under the direction of the House Manager/Administrator, this role provides direct care, supports daily operations, and ensures compliance with licensing and agency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centered care, including assistance with ADLs (grooming, bathing, feeding, mobility, toileting, and hygiene)
Support residents in daily routines, household tasks, and community activities
Administer medications per agency protocol
Implement and document Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Follow all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements (Title 17/22, HIPAA)
Transport residents safely to appointments and activities
Collaborate with team members and participate in required trainings and meetings
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 12 months of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities with behavioral support needs (or qualifying education)
Valid California driver’s license with at least 24 months of driving experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and assist with resident transfers
Must pass background check, health screening, and required clearances
CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Pro-Act, and DSP training (completed post-hire)
