Residential Furniture Restoration Specialist
We hire for attitude and train for skill. Step into a day where your craftsmanship restores comfort and style right where customers live. As a Residential Furniture Restoration Specialist with Ashley, you’ll travel to private homes and retail spaces, assess issues on-site, and bring furnishings back to like‑new condition. Your work turns everyday rooms into dream spaces—and that impact is why this role matters.
A Day in the Life
You start by reviewing your planned route to ensure on‑time appointments. Your service vehicle—stocked, organized, and safe—is ready. At each stop, you evaluate damages, determine the most efficient repair path, and complete work ranging from minor touch‑ups to small corner rebuilds and advanced replacement part repairs. You document recurring issues, communicate any parts, hardware, or tool needs, and keep your workspace—whether a customer’s home, a retail floor, or a warehouse bay—clean and orderly. Between visits, you collaborate with warehouse teams on quick touch‑up techniques, assist fellow technicians when needed, and complete periodic bench tests to validate and grow your skills. Throughout, you operate hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, multi‑tools) safely and consistently live our Core and Growth Values.
