We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Residential Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in Dublin, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating garbage trucks to collect residential waste and recyclables, ensuring timely and efficient service to our community.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential garbage trucks safely and efficiently along designated routes.
• Collect household waste and recyclables according to company and local regulations.
• Inspect vehicles daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with loading and unloading waste containers when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, and any incidents.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure personal and public safety.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns professionally.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily collection goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Proven experience operating heavy trucks, preferably garbage or refuse trucks.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work in all weather conditions and requires adherence to strict safety standards. The role may require early morning or late evening shifts and occasional weekend work.
