Residential Glazier / Installer
Make an Impact with Every Installation:
The Glazier / Installer is responsible for completing high-quality residential glass installations while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position represents our company in the customer’s home or business and plays a critical role in ensuring every job is completed safely, professionally, and correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect all products and materials for proper size, style, quality, and condition before leaving for the job.
Load the installation vehicle with all required products, tools, paperwork, safety equipment, and backup materials.
Notify both the office and customer of any anticipated delays.
Confirm the material list, installation locations, products, customer expectations, and estimated completion time upon arrival.
Install all products and services according to company quality and safety standards.
Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues whenever safely possible.
Clearly document incomplete work and go-backs, required materials, and the reason for any return visit.
Communicate promptly with the appropriate team members to ensure materials are ordered and customer expectations are properly managed.
Protect the customer’s property by using booties, drop cloths, and other protective measures—and leave the work area cleaner than you found it.
Review completed work with the customer, explain product care and maintenance, discuss applicable warranties, and collect final payment when required.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of residential glass installation experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to safely lift 50–100 pounds without assistance
Physically capable of performing installation work in residential and light-commercial environments
Preferred Skills:
Residential glass replacement, including single- and double-pane glass, shower enclosures, mirrors, and skylights
Shower installation experience, i.e. framed or frameless showers
New-construction and retrofit window and door installation
Window and door maintenance, weatherization, and repair
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic Google and Excel proficiency
Dependable, hardworking, organized, and self-motivated
Strong time-management skills and attention to detail

A successful Residential Glazier / Installer completes quality work safely, communicates clearly, protects the customer’s property, removes return visits, and leaves every customer confident in both the installation and our company.
Eligibility for company benefits is contingent upon successful completion of the initial probationary period and is subject to the discretion of the independent Franchise Owner.
