House Manager / Residential Supervisor

Home of Guiding Hands is hiring a House Manager / Residential Supervisor to help lead one of our residential homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will help guide Direct Support Professionals, oversee daily operations of the home, and ensure the individuals we support receive safe, compassionate, and person-centered care.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of Direct Support Professionals and Residential Facilitators
• Help ensure staff follow established policies, procedures, and client care plans
• Support and train staff alongside the Case Manager
• Coordinate daily routines and ensure responsibilities are completed
• Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and medication administration
• Coordinate and attend medical appointments and communicate follow-up needs
• Help manage staffing schedules and provide coverage when needed
• Maintain accurate client documentation, health tracking, and incident reports
• Monitor household supplies, medications, food, equipment, and the overall condition of the home
• Support clients in participating in community activities
• Provide input on staff evaluations and disciplinary actions

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least 12 months of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care and supporting individuals with daily living needs
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Valid California driver's license with at least two years of licensed driving experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and Pro-Act certifications
