A private household in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain the home to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong cleaner who takes pride in their work, follows direction well, and is comfortable working in a home with dogs.
The ideal candidate is hardworking, honest, dependable, and able to work efficiently while helping keep the household clean, organized, and running smoothly on a daily basis.
Main Work Duties:
• Perform detailed daily housekeeping and maintain the home in clean, neat, and well-organized condition
• Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas to a high standard
• Make beds and change linens
• Handle household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing as needed, and putting items away
• Manage daily dishwashing and maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen
• Maintain overall tidiness and help keep the home guest-ready
• Organize closets, drawers, cabinets, and household spaces as needed
• Monitor basic household cleaning supplies and inform the family when items are running low
• Assist with occasional dry cleaning pick-up as needed
• Follow household instructions and preferences carefully
• Help ensure the home is consistently well-kept and running smoothly

Required Qualities:
• Strong housekeeping and cleaning skills
• Hardworking and dependable
• Honest and trustworthy
• Comfortable around dogs and not afraid of pets
• Takes direction well and is willing to follow household preferences
Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ solid years of housekeeping experience in a large high net worth private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license, clean driving record and a reliable vehicle
