The Residential Coordinator I, in conjunction with the Residential Coordinator II, is responsible for assisting individuals with developmental delays, mental illness, and disabilities find and maintain affordable, safe housing with Woodford Homes. While both positions are responsible for interacting and assisting the residents of Woodford Homes, the Residential Coordinator I is responsible for tenant activities and spending time with the tenants.

  • Socialize and build appropriate relationships with tenants by being on-site and spending quality time
  • Conduct unit inspections and complete property inspection reports
  • Assist residents with transportation to appointments and store when need and in the absence of case worker
  • Attend meetings with tenants as needed, including DHA, LINK, and Social Security
  • Encourage tenants to complete goals and/or treatment plans and to take care of themselves and their homes; notify case manager with any concerns
  • Collect rent and deliver invoices
  • Identify maintenance issues and notify Facilities/Maintenance Specialist
  • Assist locked-out tenants when Live-In Manager not available
  • Document lease violations
  • Facilitate conflict resolution between tenants when appropriate.
  • Attend monthly tenant meetings
  • Attend monthly meetings with Heritage Behavioral Health Center personnel to discuss appropriate tenants and tenant concerns
  • Coordinate and attend tenant dinners and activities; develop monthly meal calendar and shop for meal ingredients
  • Advocate for tenants to ensure their needs are being met
  • File paperwork in tenant files
  • Maintain labeling of tenant mailboxes
  • Audit tenant files as needed
  • Carry and answer on-call phone when assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
