Residential HVAC Dispatcher

Location: Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience, plus performance bonuses and incentives

Schedule Options

Full-Time: Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

  • Monday through Thursday

  • Tuesday through Friday

Part-Time: Monday through Friday, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week

What You''ll Do

  • Schedule and dispatch residential HVAC service calls throughout the day

  • Assign technicians based on location, availability, and technical expertise

  • Monitor appointment progress and adjust schedules as priorities change

  • Communicate arrival updates and scheduling changes with homeowners

  • Coordinate with technicians to maximize productivity and route efficiency

  • Review work orders to verify accuracy before dispatching

  • Maintain detailed scheduling notes and customer records

  • Assist the service department in meeting daily performance goals

  • Provide professional communication between customers, field staff, and management

  • Help create a smooth, organized experience for both technicians and homeowners

Qualifications

  • At least two years of dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience

  • Minimum one year of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to prioritize changing workloads throughout the day

  • Comfortable making independent decisions while working under deadlines

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer software

  • Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using ServiceTitan

  • Previous dispatching experience within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another home service industry

  • Experience coordinating field technicians and optimizing service routes

  • Familiarity with residential service operations
