A day in the life

You start your morning reviewing your schedule, loading parts, and heading out to homes across the Poconos, Monroe and Northampton Counties, and throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Your first stop: a no-cool call. You run diagnostics, verify the malfunction, and repair or replace the faulty component. Before any work begins, you walk the homeowner through clear options — including available financing or payment choices — ensuring transparency and never pushing products they don’t need.

By midday, you’re performing preventive maintenance, optimizing system performance, and documenting every step. In the afternoon, you handle another service call, provide a precise diagnosis with straightforward recommendations, and complete the authorized work on time and with care. Throughout the day, you uphold safety procedures and standards, and you finish by updating records and planning your next learning opportunity to stay sharp in the trade.

What you’ll do

• Deliver a customer-first experience: explain findings, offer honest recommendations, and clearly outline financing or payment options without upselling unnecessary items.
• Diagnose issues by operating systems, pinpointing malfunctions, and repairing or replacing parts and components.
• Provide accurate assessments and transparent solutions.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to extend system life and efficiency.
• Execute authorized work with precision and timeliness.
• Document detailed notes of work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a safe, healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Pursue ongoing training and education to expand your expertise.

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience (required).
• EPA Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for a rotating on-call schedule.
• Solid understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
• Confidence working independently and making informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Based in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, our HVAC, plumbing, and construction service divisions proudly support homeowners across the Poconos, Monroe, and Northampton Counties, and throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
