    Job Description

    About the Role

Picture your day: you review your schedule on your tablet, coordinate with the office, stock the van with the right parts, and head to your first residential call. You greet the homeowner with a courteous, professional demeanor, slip protective floor savers over your footwear, and get to work—inspecting ducting, maintaining heating and cooling equipment, and troubleshooting performance issues. You may commission a new system, wire controls, run start-up tests, and record results. After restoring comfort, you walk the customer through what you did, clean the work area, document the visit neatly and on time, and debrief with dispatch. Then it’s on to the next call—prepared, safety-focused, and ready to deliver exceptional service.

    What You’ll Do

    • Service, maintain, and repair residential heating and air conditioning equipment.
    • Inspect ductwork and keep company tools/materials in safe, serviceable condition.
    • Identify components, perform wiring, and start up complete residential HVAC systems.
    • Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and perform repairs to keep systems operating properly.
    • Commission systems as needed, including testing and documenting start-up results.
    • Conduct thorough system inspections and communicate outstanding concerns to dispatch and the customer.
    • Clearly explain all services and repairs performed to dispatch/customer.
    • Coordinate daily with the office to manage your schedule efficiently.
    • Order and stage required parts in advance so each appointment is fully prepared.
    • Transport parts, materials, and tools to job sites and maintain accurate accountability for assigned items.
    • Complete all required paperwork/tablet entries accurately and on time.
    • Debrief each service call with dispatch/customer and ensure documentation is complete.
    • Leave every workspace clean and orderly after the job is finished.
    • Keep the company vehicle clean and organized, inside and out.
    • Uphold company performance standards and code of ethics.
    • Maintain a courteous, professional attitude with customers and teammates.
    • Use protective floor savers over footwear while working in customer homes.
