About the Role
As a Residential HVAC Installer (Retrofit), you'll install residential replacement HVAC systems while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You'll educate homeowners throughout the installation process, ensure installations meet the highest quality standards, and leave every home cleaner than you found it.
This is a strong fit for a skilled Residential HVAC Installer(Retrofit) who takes pride in clean workmanship, safe installations, and doing the job right the first time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Install complete residential HVAC replacement systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductless mini-splits, and related equipment
- Remove existing equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform equipment start-up, testing, and system commissioning
- Install and modify ductwork as needed for proper system performance
- Educate homeowners on the operation and maintenance of their new equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area inside customers' homes
- Complete installation paperwork accurately and on time
- Identify additional system concerns and communicate findings appropriately
- Follow all company, manufacturer, OSHA, and safety guidelines
- Represent Quality professionally during every customer interaction
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of residential HVAC retrofit or installation experience preferred
- EPA 608 Certification (or ability to obtain)
- OSHA 30
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and installation best practices
- Ability to install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift 75+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined areas
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, professional installations
