Residential HVAC Installer & Technician

Carolina ServiceWorks provides full-service construction, remodeling, plumbing, and HVAC services across Morehead City, Emerald Isle, and nearby North Carolina communities. The HVAC division handles installation, repair, maintenance, and service work for residential and commercial properties. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Installer / Technician who can step in, work independently, and deliver high-quality service without needing to be trained from scratch.

This role is ideal for an HVAC professional with hands-on experience in installation, service, diagnostics, and repair. You will work on a variety of HVAC systems, including central air, heat pumps, furnaces, ductless mini-splits, and related equipment. The company values technicians who can communicate clearly, take pride in clean work, and understand the importance of doing the job right the first time.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems
• Work with central air conditioning, heat pumps, furnaces, ductless mini-splits, and related systems
• Diagnose issues and provide reliable repair solutions
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and management
• Maintain accurate job notes, updates, and documentation
• Support HVAC installation and service work across residential and light commercial projects
• Assist with related trade work when qualified and appropriate

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC experience preferred; 4+ years ideal
• Strong HVAC installation, service, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with plumbing or electrical work is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must take pride in clean, professional work
• North Carolina trade experience is a plus

Pay and benefits

• Full-time, W-2 position 
• Pay range: $70,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and skill level
• Additional performance-based bonus opportunities
