About the Role
As an Residential HVAC Sales Technician, you'll diagnose residential HVAC issues, perform repairs when appropriate and recommend replacement solutions when they provide the greatest long-term value, and educate homeowners on the best repair or replacement options for their home. You'll combine your technical expertise with outstanding customer service to build trust and deliver the right solution every time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and light installations
- Educate homeowners on repair and replacement options
- Recommend solutions that best fit the customer's needs
- Build trust through honest, consultative recommendations
- Generate repair and replacement opportunities through accurate system evaluations.
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Follow Quality's service standards and technology
- Represent the company professionally in customers' homes
What We're Looking For
- Residential HVAC service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable discussing repair and replacement options with homeowners while building trust.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Honest work ethic and professional attitude
Preferred
- EPA 608 Certification
- OSHA 30
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience with residential retrofit and replacement systems
