By mid-morning, you’re installing a high-efficiency heat pump and commissioning it to spec. After lunch, you tackle a preventative maintenance visit, catching a worn inducer motor before it fails. Late afternoon brings an urgent service request—your quick, professional response restores comfort and earns another happy customer review. You wrap up by completing clear service notes and scheduling a follow-up, then head home—mission accomplished.

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, experienced HVAC professional to keep homeowners comfortable year-round, with occasional light commercial work as needed.

Role highlights

• Primary focus on residential HVAC service, repair, maintenance, and installation
• Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-split systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
• Respond to emergency service calls to restore comfort and system functionality
• Assist on light commercial service, repair, and installation when needed
• Inspect equipment; identify needed repairs or replacements
• Ensure code compliance and follow company safety procedures
• Communicate findings and options clearly to customers
• Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and related documentation
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in clean, organized condition

Compensation & employment

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00/hour, depending on experience and certifications

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC service, installation, and repair experience required
• Residential HVAC experience required; light commercial experience is a plus
• EPA Certification preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Self-starter who can manage service calls efficiently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions
• Professional response to emergency service and after-hours calls when on-call (One weekend monthly)

Schedule

• Monday – Friday - 7AM to 4PM
• Remain on duty until all scheduled service calls are completed
• Overtime opportunities available
