Residential HVAC Service Technician

Overview

If you've spent the last three-plus years building real expertise in residential HVAC, Mountain Air Mechanical would like to talk to you, and we’re offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 to make it official.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Create accurate repair estimates for customers.
• Educate customers on HVAC products, services, and maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and deliver solutions that address the root cause, not just the symptom
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and members.
• Build long-term trust with customers. Our most successful technicians are also our most customer focused.
• Participate in rotating on call shifts, occasional overtime, and weekend work based on the demand.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in residential HVAC service (heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioning units, etc.)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs. regularly
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, outdoor environments, and on ladders.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
