The Residential HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential HVAC systems while maintaining clear communication with homeowners and accurate job documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and residential service calls.
- Clearly communicate system findings and recommendations to homeowners.
- Complete detailed service notes, photos, and documentation using field service software.
- Accurately track labor hours and materials used.
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle.
Qualifications
- Three (3)+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
- EPA Certification (required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Professional appearance with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable using mobile devices and service software.
