About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Residential Service/Maintenance HVAC Technician within commuting distance of Bellingham, MA. This position focuses exclusively on residential heating and cooling.
Your primary purpose will be to independently troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, mini-splits, and air handlers. Your technical expertise is critical to our mission because, in our residential work, delivering top-tier service always comes first.

- Base Salary: Highly competitive base rate of $35.00 to $45.00+ per hour ($72,800 – $93,600 annual base).
- On-Target Earnings (OTE):$100,800 to $121,600+ First-Year Potential (includes hourly base, $5,000 hiring bonus, and average ~$25,000 performance incentives).
- Hiring Bonus: $5,000.
- Performance Incentives & Bonuses: Robust earning potential adding an average of ~$25,000+ per year on top of base pay through performance incentives, installation sales commissions, year-end bonuses, lead conversion rewards, and customer review spiffs.

- Paid Training: Company-paid ongoing technical training, such as heat exchanger courses and Peterson School oil burner classes.
Core Responsibilities
- Daily Field Operations: Complete an average of 3 residential service calls per day.
- Team Connection: Arrive around 6:45 AM for a brief 15-minute daily morning meeting at 7:00 AM to sync with the team.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, repair, and service heat pumps, AC systems, and gas heating equipment using strong diagnostic skills.
- Customer Communication: Interact directly with homeowners daily, explaining system options and presenting our maintenance club memberships clearly.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Serve as a mentor in the field, actively teaching and guiding apprentices.
Required & Preferred Experience
- Required Experience:4 or more years of field experience in residential HVAC service and maintenance. (Note: We are not in need of entry-level technicians or installers at this time.)
- Required Licensing: Valid EPA Universal Certification and a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Preferred Certifications:NATE Certification is a major plus and commands top pay. Sheet metal or oil burner licensing is also a great bonus.
- Software Skills: Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
