Residential Journeyman Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with residential and commercial plumbing systems, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

In this role, you will work directly with clients in their homes and businesses to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems, as well as perform preventative maintenance and installations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all work meets industry standards and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve plumbing issues efficiently

• Perform pipe threading, assembly, and installation of fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.)

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future issues

• Respond to emergency service calls as needed

• Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely and effectively

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Collaborate with team members on remodeling and construction projects

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local plumbing codes

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and compliance

• Perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and installation techniques

• Solid understanding of plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

• Experience with remodeling or general maintenance is a plus
