Job Description Job Description SJ Ward Landscapes Longmont, CO$2832/hourSJ Ward Landscapes is seeking an experienced Residential Landscape Foreman to lead residential landscape construction crews throughout Northern Colorado. This position is responsible for managing daily field production, leading crews, maintaining quality standards, coordinating with Project Managers, and ensuring projects stay productive, organized, and on schedule.This is a hands-on leadership role. Foremen are expected to actively work alongside their crews while directing production, solving problems in the field, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.SJ Ward Landscapes specializes in high-quality residential design-build landscape projects including irrigation, hardscape, grading, planting, drainage, outdoor living spaces, and full property transformations.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage residential landscape construction crews dailyLine out crew members and maintain production flow throughout the dayEnsure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standardsRead and understand landscape plans, layouts, and project specificationsCoordinate materials, equipment, and project needs with Project ManagersMaintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and professionalismCommunicate project progress, delays, and issues proactivelyTrain and develop crew membersOperate equipment when needed including skid steers and mini excavatorsEnsure irrigation, grading, hardscape, planting, and installation work is completed correctlyComplete daily reports and communicate production updatesMaintain positive customer interactions on job sitesRequirementsMUST HAVE irrigation installation experiencePrevious Foreman or crew leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of residential landscape constructionAbility to manage crews and maintain production standardsAbility to read plans and follow project layoutsValid U.S. drivers license requiredReliable transportationAbility to operate landscape equipment safelyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsPositive attitude and strong work ethicPreferred QualificationsBilingual English/Spanish is a plusHardscape installation experienceEquipment operation experienceExperience leading crews of 38+ peopleCompensation & Benefits$2832/hour depending on experienceOvertime opportunitiesGrowth opportunities within the companyConsistent year-round workTeam-oriented environment with strong leadership supportAbout SJ Ward LandscapesSJ Ward Landscapes is a fast-growing design-build landscaping company focused on delivering high-quality residential landscape projects across Northern Colorado.
