We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate.What we need: Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC. What You'll Do:Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.Provide community recreational activities when available.Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities.Documentation of activities.Help residents develop healthy social habits.Dispense medication and monitor dosages.Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.Qualifications:Strong verbal skillsWillingness to help othersAt least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable.A valid Driver's licenseA High School Diploma Job Type: Part-timeHours: up to 29 hours per weekRate: $15.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-2pmLocation: Charlotte, NC 28212 Benefits:Teladoc HealthPartnership Discounts with Local Businesses.Extensive Training Program including on-the-job training.Free meals while on duty. All InReach applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
