Residential Patrol Security Officer

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday 8:30 am-5:00 pm and Wednesday-Thursday 2:00 pm-9:00 pm

Pay Rate: $16.60 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Residential Patrol Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of a residential property in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, preferably in a residential or concierge setting. As a member of our security team, you will be responsible for patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, and providing exceptional customer service to residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the residential property to maintain security and report any suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access control systems, including gates and entrances.
  • Enforce property rules and regulations while ensuring the safety of residents and guests.
  • Provide concierge-level service and assist residents with inquiries or concerns as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with residents, guests, and staff.
  • Write detailed reports on incidents, daily activities, and any unusual occurrences.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles safely when required.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois PERC Guard Card is required.
  • 20-Hour Unarmed Security Certificate is required.
  • Previous security experience is a must, with preference for residential security or customer service/concierge backgrounds.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong sense of professionalism, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Patrol experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.
