Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Platforms Manager to lead the strategy, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of primarily Yardi, On-Site and all platforms used by the rental division. This role will serve as the primary owner of the platform, partnering with Operations, IT, leasing, finance team, and third-party vendors to ensure the platform meets business objectives and delivers a seamless user experience.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Yardi, property management operations, and software platform management. This individual will drive platform enhancements, manage system integrations and releases, and work on continuous process improvement across the division. 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Platform Ownership

  • Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for the Yardi/ On-Site platform.
  • Evaluate and implement new Yardi functionality and modules.
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Manage system configurations, releases, and upgrades.
  • Manage the platform support team, which uses Zendesk to track issues and requests.
  • Improve efficiency and workflows by identifying process gaps and streamlining platform-related operations.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for platform processes and support workflows.
  • Train staff and end users on platform functionality, updates, and best practices.

Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Property Operations, Accounting, Marketing, IT, and other teams.
  • Recommend best practices to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Act as the liaison between Yardi and third-party vendors.

Project & Delivery Management

  • Lead platform-related projects from planning through implementation.
  • Coordinate testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure successful adoption through training and documentation.

Platform Operations

  • Oversee issue resolution with internal teams and vendors.
  • Maintain platform documentation, and support processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, software teams.
  • Mentor and support team members reporting to this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years administering, implementing, or managing the Yardi platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Yardi Voyager and related modules.
  • Experience managing software platforms or enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of software implementation and system lifecycle management.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Yardi modules such as RentCafe, CRM, Payment Processing, Elevate, Resident Screening, or Revenue Management and On-Site leasing.
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and third-party vendors.
  • Knowledge of SQL, reporting, or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with SaaS and cloud-based applications.

Compensation:
$155,000 - $170,000 / year
