Position Summary

Russell’s American Mechanical is seeking an experienced Residential Plumber to join our growing team. This role focuses on residential plumbing service, repair, and maintenance. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically skilled, and able to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential plumbing service and repair, including leak detection, drain clearing, fixture repairs, pipe replacements, and water heater service

• Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and recommend effective repair solutions

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and company standards

• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repair options, and preventative recommendations

• Complete service documentation accurately and timely

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 5 years of residential plumbing service experience 

•  Journeyman preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and local plumbing codes

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
