WHAT THE ROLE IS
As the Residential Plumbing Sales Manager, you will oversee the sales performance of our residential service team. You'll work directly with plumbers in the field, providing coaching, sales training and ride-alongs to improve communication, customer experience, closing rates and overall sales performance.
You'll also help establish sales processes, monitor team performance, identify growth opportunities, and ensure every customer interaction reflects Sweetwater Plumbing's commitment to quality and integrity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead, mentor, and manage the residential plumbing sales team.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs to coach plumbers on customer interactions, sales techniques, and closing strategies.
- Develop and deliver ongoing sales training and coaching programs.
- Monitor individual and team sales performance, KPIs, closing percentages, average ticket values, and conversion rates.
- Hold team members accountable to performance goals while providing the support needed for success.
- Assist with complex estimates, larger sales opportunities, and customer escalations when necessary.
- Develop and implement sales processes that improve consistency and profitability.
- Collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure seamless job execution and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales-focused plumbing professionals.
- Foster a positive, competitive, and growth-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in sales within the trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or construction) preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and services is preferred
- Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales metrics and use data to improve team performance.
- Experience with CRM and field service management software such as ServiceTitan/ Hubspot is preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Schedule:
- Flexible hours (typically Monday–Friday)
- Must be available for customer meetings during daytime hours and occasional evenings as needed
