As a leading Residential Treatment Center in the Greater Richmond area, Hallmark Youthcare treats adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues triggered by trauma. Treatment is provided in a warm and friendly environment by a group of well-trained, highly motivated staff that take pride in delivering quality care. 

We are currently seeking a Residential Program Director, Second Shift 3:00 pm-11:30 pm and every other weekend for our residential treatment programs serving boys and girls, 11–17 years old, with complex behavioral and emotional challenges. This is an elevated position within our agency that requires excellent organization, leadership, critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, task completion, and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $66,000 - $75,000 Annually 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  •  Responsible for the daily second shift operations and oversight of the Residential Program ensuring the highest quality of services to youth and families by creating an atmosphere that is safe, respectful, and positive for all residents and staff.
  • Implement and maintain systems in which the program routine and structure is maintained day to day.
  • Ensures the schedule is being implemented and supports the management staff in unit management and problem-solving skills.
  • Works closely with the clinical team and supports family treatment and involvement by providing facilitation, supervision, and support for visits and family connections with families and guardians.
  • Provide supervision to the program supervisors. 

 Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Baccalaureate degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or nursing and a combination of three years professional experience with children in a children's residential facility and in administration or supervision.
  •  A master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or nursing and a combination of two years professional experience with children in a children's residential facility and in administration or supervision.
