The Residential Program Intern plays a hands -on role in the daily operations of our residential program. This is an immersive, development -focused internship designed for individuals who want real -world experience in residential program oversight, mentorship, and leadership. You will work directly alongside program staff, supporting the structure and accountability that makes our program effective.

This is not a desk internship. You will be present, engaged, and trusted with meaningful responsibility from day one.

  • Oversee student check -in procedures, including intake and unpacking<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing student phone calls
    <\/li>
  • Participate in and lead small group sessions
    <\/li>
  • Provide oversight and support during assemblies, meals, chapel services, and study halls
    <\/li>
  • Accompany and transport students to medical appointments, errands, and approved activities
    <\/li>
  • Supervise student store runs and one -day passes
    <\/li>
  • Document policy violations and submit reports to the Program Supervisor
    <\/li>
  • Monitor daily work duties, on -site visits, and assigned tasks
    <\/li>
  • Participate in training, weekly meetings, and organizational events
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Organized and detail -oriented with strong time management skills
      <\/li>
    • Patient, dependable, and consistent under pressure
      <\/li>
    • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
      <\/li>
    • Genuine interest in mentorship, human services, or nonprofit work
      <\/li>
    • Active Christian faith and willingness to adhere to WMATC's Statement of Faith
      <\/li>
    • Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
      <\/li>
    • Must pass a background check
