As a Residential Program Trainee with the Bedford-Somerset Developmental and Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), you will help individuals grow stronger and more confident in daily life. This position offers meaningful hands-on experience supporting people in a residential setting, helping to teach life skills, encourage independence, and support personal progress. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a part-time Residential Program Trainee, the incumbent will help individuals learn daily living skills, build independence, and stay safe in a residential setting. This role supports personal growth through teaching, guidance, and teamwork. Work also involves assisting with the development and implementation of service plans. This position is responsible for the following duties:

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
