Overview

We are seeking a Residential Programs Coordinator to provide leadership, oversight, and operational support within residential treatment programs. This role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating daily operations, supporting admissions and census goals, and ensuring a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is an organized, self-directed leader with strong communication skills and experience in staff supervision and program coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, hire, schedule, and evaluate assigned staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal program operations
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Residential Technicians, Drivers, Recovery Support Staff, and Interns
  • Support staff retention and deliver a strong onboarding experience to promote engagement and high-quality service delivery
  • Coordinate staffing schedules, including coverage for unplanned absences
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain optimal census levels and support admissions processes
  • Provide and document supervision; complete performance evaluations in a timely manner
  • Review and approve staff timesheets and time-off requests in alignment with payroll schedule
  • Oversee ordering and maintenance of non-medical supplies and inventory
  • Maintain menus in collaboration with dietician and food service providers; ensure compliance with food sanitation standards
  • Coordinate and participate in staff meetings, quality management (QM) activities, and program initiatives
  • Ensure residential units are clean, safe, and conducive to recovery in collaboration with facilities and unit staff
  • Maintain a strong on-site presence to support staff, address issues, and model best practices
  • Promote a team-oriented environment that emphasizes communication, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in scheduling, inventory management, or program coordination
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience required
  • Must obtain Food Sanitation certification within 6 months of hire (if not already certified)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in scheduling and admissions-related decisions
  • Understanding of staff recruitment, engagement, retention, and training practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational and documentation protocols

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $49,000 - $55,000 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
