Gardner/Fox is a full-service design/build construction firm founded in 1987 and based in Bryn Mawr. Our award-winning firm operates both a residential and commercial division.

We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in high-end residential renovations and additions, including kitchens, bathrooms, whole-house renovations, and custom additions.

The successful candidate will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with in-house design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and field staff to ensure quality results, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage residential renovation and addition projects from design handoff through construction completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and material procurement plans.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Manage project documentation, change orders, billing, and closeout processes.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and compliance with design documents and safety standards.
• Resolve field issues proactively and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project.
• Ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and client service are upheld on every job.

Preferred or Required Background and Education:

• 5+ years of residential construction experience, including at least 2 years in a project management role.
• Experience managing high-end renovation and addition projects.
• Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and construction specifications.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, budgeting, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
